    prompts in the app

Google Play figures as of 7 November 2026.

The problem

Good AI prompts are scattered across social posts and hard to judge from text alone. People want to see what a prompt produces, copy it quickly and find it again later. A gallery like this also goes stale fast unless new prompts are easy to publish.

Our decisions

  • Show results first

The feed is a staggered image grid with infinite scroll, so people choose by the result they want and not by reading prompt text.

  • Publish content without an app release

Prompts live in Firebase and are managed from a separate admin panel, so the catalogue can change daily without a Play Store update.

  • Keep an image-heavy feed fast

A small image service creates compressed WebP versions for the feed, and the detail screen loads the high-resolution image.

  • Keep ads light

The app earns through AdMob, using interstitial ads only and no banners competing with the images in the feed.

What we built

  • Android app with feed, categories, prompt detail, one-tap copy and favourites
  • Favourites saved on the device for offline access
  • A list of AI tools people can jump to with a prompt ready
  • Web admin panel to create, edit and delete prompts
  • Image compression service that outputs WebP
  • Crash reporting and Remote Config for changes after release
  • Kotlin
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Material 3
  • Hilt
  • Firebase
  • AdMob
  • Coil
  • Python

Where it is now

Recent updates focused on bug fixes, ad improvements and Google Play in-app updates, so people move to new versions sooner.
